Sparsh Hospice, a leading palliative care centre in Hyderabad, is looking for a passionate and organized Project Coordinator – Volunteering to strengthen and scale our volunteer engagement program amongst all stakeholders.

Role Overview
The Volunteer Management Associate will support the mission of Sparsh Hospice by building, engaging, and sustaining a strong volunteer community that contributes to compassionate palliative care services and community outreach programs. The role involves coordinating volunteering initiatives with schools, colleges, corporates, and community groups while ensuring meaningful support for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
1. Volunteer Program Development
• Coordinate and implement volunteering programs with schools, colleges, and educational institutions, Corporates and other required institutions.
• Support structured volunteering initiatives aligned with hospice care, awareness, and outreach programs.
2. Corporate Volunteer Engagement
• Plan and facilitate employee volunteering programs with corporate partners.
• Coordinate with CSR teams to organize meaningful engagement activities for volunteers.
3. Volunteer Recruitment & Onboarding
• Identify, recruit, and onboard volunteers through institutions, community networks, and partnerships.
• Conduct orientation sessions to help volunteers understand hospice care values and guidelines.

4. Volunteer Engagement & Retention
• Maintain a database of volunteers and track participation.
• Create engagement activities that encourage long-term volunteer involvement.
5. Community Support & Beneficiary Engagement
• Support outreach initiatives that address the social and emotional needs of patients and their families.
• Help bridge the gap between volunteers, hospice staff, and beneficiary families.
6. Program Coordination & Scaling
• Assist in building scalable volunteering programs to increase community participation.
• Support awareness programs on palliative care in communities, institutions, and corporate environments.

• Digital literacy (MS Office, spreadsheets, communication tools, PPT)
• Highly organised individual
• Flexible engagement model - suitable for students, working professionals, or full-time volunteers. Flexible - suitable for students, working professionals, or full-time volunteers. This role requires weekend participation, which will be balanced.

Preferred attributes
• Experience in volunteering, community engagement, project coordination, or non-profits
• Background in social work, psychology, healthcare, or management
• Fluency in English + Telugu/Hindi

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Management, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in volunteer management, CSR programs, NGOs, or community engagement.
• Strong communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills.
• Passion for social impact, healthcare support, and community service.
