Job Title: Block Coordinator
Job Summary

The Block Coordinator will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities at the block level. The position will ensure effective field operations, stakeholder coordination, and timely execution of project objectives in line with organizational guidelines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise project implementation at the block level to ensure activities are executed efficiently and within the defined timelines.

Provide regular guidance and support to field staff and ensure effective communication between field teams and project management.

Liaise and coordinate with government departments, local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders for smooth project implementation.

Monitor project progress, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions to improve program effectiveness.

Organize community meetings, awareness programs, capacity-building sessions, and trainings as required under the project.

Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and maintenance of project records and field data.

Prepare and submit periodic progress reports to the Project Manager/Project Coordinator.

Support project monitoring, evaluation, and compliance with organizational policies and project guidelines.

Qualifications

Graduate / Post Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Public Administration, or any relevant field.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in development sector, NGO projects, or government-supported programs.

Required Skills

Strong coordination and communication skills

Experience in community mobilization and field project implementation

Ability to work with government stakeholders and local institutions

Good documentation and reporting skills

Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email)
