CONTENT OF TERMS OF REFERENCE(TOR)
1. BACKGROUND/RATIONALE
Our Client’s Country Programme 2023–2027 focuses on addressing the needs of the most marginalized and vulnerable children and women in rural and urban poor communities, including tribal populations, slum dwellers, and houseless groups. Goal Area 6 aligns with the national Social Policy and Social Protection strategy, with a focus on strengthening CRVS systems and SDG tracking for child-related indicators. This entails enhancing the capacity to equitably monitor, develop, achieve, and align the SDG vision for children in close collaboration with the State Planning Commission and UN agencies, through technical assistance to the State Planning Commission and the Directorate of Economics and Statistics (DES) on CRVS strengthening, data quality, SDG tracking, and evidence use in policy planning and outcome-based budgeting.
