About the Organization :
Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti is working in the field of biofertilizer production, soil testing, and agricultural research. We aim to support farmers with quality inputs and scientific advisory services.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations, including microbiological work, soil testing, and research activities.
Eligibility :
Graduate in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Agriculture Or related field
Salary :
• Rs.20,000 – Rs.23,000 CTC per month (PF and ESIC deducted as per norms)
• Based on experience and skills
Key Responsibilities :
• Assist in routine laboratory work and experiments
• Prepare media and maintain microbial cultures (Rhizobium, Azotobacter, PSB, etc.)
• Operate basic laboratory equipment (pH meter, weighing balance, autoclave)
• Record observations and maintain proper documentation
• Follow biosafety and laboratory protocols strictly
• Conduct soil testing (pH, EC, OC, NPK)
• Assist in preparation of Soil Health Cards
• Maintain lab cleanliness, hygiene, and waste management
Required Skills :
• Basic knowledge of microbiology and soil science
• Knowledge of media preparation and culture handling
• Familiarity with biofertilizer organisms
• Understanding of sterilization and aseptic techniques
• Basic knowledge of soil sample collection and testing
