Key Responsibilities – Special Educator

Assess the learning abilities, behavioural patterns, and support needs of adults with special needs.

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each beneficiary.

Provide life skills training such as personal care, communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.

Conduct structured educational and functional skill activities to promote independence.

Support adults with disabilities in behaviour management and emotional regulation.

Plan and conduct group activities, recreational sessions, and skill development programs.

Maintain progress records, reports, and documentation for each individual.

Work collaboratively with counsellors, caregivers, therapists, and families.

Assist in vocational and functional skill training for adults with special needs.

Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment within the center.
