Position: Project Coordinator – Someshwar, Takula Block (Almora),Uttarakhand

Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for end-to-end planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of programme activities at the field level. The role focuses on strengthening grassroots governance, women’s leadership, and community development outcomes through effective programme delivery, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Programme Implementation & Management
- Lead and ensure timely and quality implementation of project activities as per approved plans
- Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure alignment with programme goals and timelines
- Work in close collaboration with the State Office for planning, execution, and course correction
- Support budget tracking and ensure efficient utilization of resources
2. Capacity Building & Training
- Plan and coordinate trainings and workshops for staff and community stakeholders
- Support capacity-building initiatives, particularly for women leaders and local institutions
- Ensure training quality, participation, and follow-up
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
- Oversee data collection (primary and secondary) for key programme indicators
- Validate and verify field data to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Ensure proper maintenance of M&E systems, formats, and documentation
- Generate insights to strengthen programme effectiveness
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Ensure timely and high-quality documentation of programme activities and outputs
- Prepare reports, presentations, and periodic updates for internal review
- Maintain accurate records and databases using MS Office tools
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with district/block administration, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and civil society organizations
- Facilitate convergence and collaboration for effective programme delivery
- Represent the organization at relevant local forums and meetings
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Masters in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, or related field
- 5–6 years of experience in the development sector
- Minimum 3 years of experience in rural development, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and women’s empowerment
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English; knowledge of Kumaoni preferable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong coordination, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience with digital tools and data management systems
- Travel extensively within Takula Block, Someshwar area
- Ability to work independently and in field-based, rural contexts
