• Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)

MAMTA is seeking applications for post of School Supervisor – For the Parivartan project supported by Relaxo with the aim of holistic development of 14 primary and upper primary schools of Laksar district, Haridwar in the state of Uttarakhand. The project intervention focuses on adapting and integrating joyful learning methodologies within the ongoing school curriculum while strengthening the life skills, self-efficacy, health, and wellness outcomes of students. The intervention applies a gender transformative approach aiming to strengthen the learning eco-system while enhancing stakeholder competencies while providing mentoring and handholding support to teachers, parents, and members of the school management committee and sharing the findings with the officials of the Department of Education for replication and sustainability of the initiative.
Educational Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
• A Masters’ degree in Sociology, Social Work, Education, Gender Studies, or a related field with preference for candidates holding a B.Ed degree.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in the development sector is essential, with preference for candidates who have worked on education-focused projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
• Ability to effectively tailor communication to suit diverse audiences.
• Strong coordination, multi-tasking, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience in designing innovative and engaging sessions that incorporate joyful learning methodologies for school environments.
• Responsible for planning and executing educational sessions at both school and community levels, while leading and monitoring implementation in collaboration with school mentors.
• Daily coordination and supervision of session delivery by school mentors.
• Support overall project implementation at the district level through active coordination with district and block-level government bodies, as well as with school principals.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of school sessions in alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor the sessions in school on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Proficiency in using design tools like Canva and similar platforms for creating engaging content.
• Strong skills in report writing and documentation.
• Proficient in using MS Word, Excel and PPT
