The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization and ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance with all financial procedures.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain day-to-day financial transactions and proper bookkeeping
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage cash flow, receipts, and payments efficiently
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor bank accounts
Prepare and manage budgets for various projects and activities
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies
Maintain records of grants, donations, and project funds
Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documents
Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making
Support administrative and financial planning activities

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualities:
Experience working with NGOs or development sector organizations
Understanding of rural development projects and fund management
Honest, responsible, and committed to social work

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, MS Excel)
Minimum 1–2 years of experience (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
