The Role
The Officer – Strategic Partnerships will play a critical role in expanding the Trust’s reach by identifying, building, and managing relationships with corporate donors, government bodies, and other NGOs. Working under the direct mentorship of the Senior Advisor, you will be at the forefront of our mission to create sustainable, long-term conservation and social development models.
Key Responsibilities
• Partnership Development: Identify and research potential corporate (CSR) partners, foundations, and government agencies whose missions align with wetland conservation and rural development initiatives.
• Proposal Drafting: Assist in drafting high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, and board resolutions for new projects
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for external partners, maintaining regular communication to ensure long-term engagement.
• Strategic Support: Support the Senior Advisor in developing partnership strategies, preparing for high-level meetings, and representing at networking events.
• Reporting & Compliance: Monitor the progress of partnered projects and prepare comprehensive impact reports for donors and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in the development sector (NGO), corporate social responsibility (CSR), or business development.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. The candidate capable of presenting to varied audiences.
• Interpersonal Skills: A natural relationship builder with the ability to navigate diverse environments—from corporate boardrooms to rural community centres.
• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Attributes: Proactive, highly organized, and deeply committed to environmental and social causes.
