Participatory Action for Community Empowerment (PACE), a voluntary development organization established on 18 December 2000, is dedicated to people centred development and the empowerment of Dalits, women, children, the elderly, and marginalized communities. Currently operational across 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh, PACE works on thematic areas including Education, Health, Livelihood, Climate Action, Child Rights, and Women’s Empowerment. With over two decades of impact, PACE continues to be a catalyst for inclusive and sustainable change.
We are inviting applications for multiple positions across our project locations in Firozabad, Lucknow, Balrampur, Shahjahanpur, and Sitapur districts of Uttar Pradesh.
1. Project Coordinator / Thematic Coordinators
(Themes: Health, Education, Livelihood, Child Protection, Solid Waste Management, Climate Action)
Required Qualification
• Master’s degree in Social Work/Development Studies/ MSW/ MBA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project leadership, team guidance, mentoring, communication, and reporting.
• Strong expertise in relevant thematic areas with innovative, solution oriented thinking.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital documentation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and report writing abilities.
• Experience in managing multi sectoral programs and leading diverse teams.
• Commitment to organizational values, child protection, and gender equality.
2. Community Mobilisers
Required Qualification and Experience
• Graduate in any discipline (preferably Social Work / Social Sciences).
• 2–3 years of grassroots experience preferred.
• Strong reading and writing skills in Hindi; basic understanding of English.
• Prior experience in community mobilization.
• Local candidates will be given preference.
Required Skills and Competencies
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel (mandatory).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel regularly to field areas.
• Must own a motorcycle or other vehicle for field visits.
