About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Documentation & Reporting Officer to support our development programs. The role requires strong writing, analytical, and presentation skills to document project progress, prepare reports, and develop communication materials.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations (PPTs) for internal and external stakeholders
• Develop case studies, success stories, and impact narratives
• Draft project completion reports, monthly reports, and daily activity reports
• Maintain proper documentation of project activities and outputs
• Compile data, analyze findings, and present insights in a structured manner
• Coordinate with field teams for timely data collection and validation
• Ensure documentation aligns with donor and organizational requirements
• Design and implement monitoring frameworks (indicators, log frames, tracking tools).
• Collect, verify, and validate field data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct field monitoring visits to track project activities and progress.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and analytical reports for decision-making.
Social Media Management
• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms
• Create engaging content (posts, reels, graphics, stories)
• Manage daily posting, scheduling, and audience engagement
• Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns accordingly
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Social Work / Rural Development / Development Studies / Journalism / English / Management or related field
Experience:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in documentation and reporting in NGO/CSR/development sector
• Proven experience in preparing reports, case studies, and presentations
Required Skills
• Excellent English writing and editing skills
• Strong command over MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to convert field data into meaningful reports
• Good understanding of development sector programs
• Strong coordination and time management skills
Desirable
• Experience working with government or donor-funded projects
• Knowledge of Odisha development context
• Basic graphic/design skills will be an added advantage
Compensation & Benefits
• Monthly Salary: Rs 55,000 (fixed)
• Travel Allowance (TA) & Daily Allowance (DA): As per actuals
