  • Qualification: Doctoral or postgraduate degree in industrial/organisational psychology/organizational behaviour.
  • Experience Required: 12-15 years of experience in developing assessment tools for organizations and/or organizational development
Skills and Attributes
  • Hands on with data analysis and use of statistical tools like R and Pandas
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to share insights that drive value
  • Effective communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience in conducting expert interviews/KIIs
  • Proven ability to successfully complete tasks assigned, and meeting deadlines
About the Project
PCI hosts the South Asia Social Norms Learning Collaborative (SA-SNLC), which is a platform to share, learn and engage on social norms in South Asia. It aims to build a network of organisations, researchers, practitioners, academicians, enthusiasts, and others interested in working on social norms in South Asia.
 
About the Position
The assignment will involve secondary research, expert consultations, the development of a draft assessment framework, and implementation guidance to assess workplace social norms and their influence on work culture, organizational behaviour outcomes, and gender-transformative workplace policies and practices.
 
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Conduct extensive secondary research and subject matter expert consultations on aspects of organizational behaviour that affect productivity and influence gender norms.
  • Map predictors of task performance, employee satisfaction, organizational citizenship behaviour and counterproductive behaviour.
  • Work closely with the team to develop a measure of social norms influencing the different aspects of organizational behaviour
  • Develop a technical framework, draft assessment instrument, and guidance manual for future psychometric validation and implementation.
Essential requirements:
  • Doctoral or postgraduate degree in industrial/organisational psychology/organizational behaviour.
  • 12-15 years of experience in developing assessment tools for organizations and/or organizational development
  • Hands on with data analysis and use of statistical tools like R and Pandas
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to share insights that drive value
  • Effective communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience in conducting expert interviews/KIIs
  • Proven ability to successfully complete tasks assigned, and meeting deadlines
  • Familiarity with social norms frameworks, and/or knowledge of machine learning, NLP, text mining, random forest etc. is a plus

Recruitment Process
  • Applications will be shortlisted based on the criteria mentioned in the job description.
  • The process may include a presentation of the assignment.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for one or more rounds of panel interviews.
The complete process usually takes 2–3 weeks. Candidates moving to the final round will hear from the People & Culture team. In?person meetings are preferred, but virtual meetings are conducted where distance is a constraint.
