Location: Aslali Transport Center (Ahmedabad) and Nigdi (Pune)
Duration: 12-month contract (extendable upon mutual agreement)
Experience : upto 5 years
Remuneration : Upto Rs 5 lakhs per annum depending upon competence level

Position Overview
Synergie is looking for experienced Road Safety Trainers with a strong background in training heavy vehicle drivers and transport workers.
The role involves conducting theory-based and activity-oriented road safety training sessions for truck drivers and heavy motor vehicle operators at transport hubs in Ahmedabad and Pune. The focus will be on strengthening road safety awareness, behavioural change, and adoption of safe driving practices.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging adult learners in field settings and should preferably have experience using activity-based or sports-for-development approaches in training delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver structured road safety training sessions for heavy motor vehicle drivers using both classroom and activity-based methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to training protocols, safety standards, and reporting processes.
• Conduct practical engagement activities to improve participant involvement and learning retention.
• Capture participant feedback, observations, and session outcomes for reporting and program improvement.
• Support achievement of program targets related to training delivery, engagement, and behavioural adoption.
• Coordinate with field teams and transport center stakeholders for smooth execution of training activities.

Candidate Requirements
• 3–4 years of experience in conducting road safety trainings, preferably with heavy vehicle operators or transport sector workers.
• Familiarity with both traditional and modern training methodologies and facilitation techniques.
• Experience in activity-based learning, sports-for-development, or participatory training approaches will be preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse participant groups.
• Ability to motivate participants and build trust in field-based environments.
• Open to continuous learning, field travel, and dynamic implementation environments.

• Must have access to a laptop and smartphone for documentation and communication purposes.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Willingness to work from the assigned base locations in Ahmedabad or Pune.
