About the Role & Responsibilities
The Program Lead is responsible for end-to-end ownership of program quality, coherence, and impact across all learning areas at HHK.
This is not a coordination role--it is a deeply on-ground instructional leadership role. The Program Lead ensures that what happens in classrooms, bastis, and learning spaces leads to meaningful learning for children. This requires staying closely connected to the realities of children's lives, while driving clarity and consistency in how learning is designed, delivered, and assessed.
The role demands a strong focus on instructional quality--ensuring that teaching practices are effective, contextual, and continuously improving. The Program Lead uses data not just for reporting, but to actively inform decisions, identify gaps, and strengthen learning outcomes.
Ultimately, the Program Lead is accountable for ensuring that the program is relevant, rigorous, and leading to measurable growth in children's learning and development.
??Program Design & Academic Strengthening
? Review and strengthen:
? Lesson plans
? Curriculum alignment
? Instructional design
? Ensure coherence across:
? Different subjects and program areas
? Build frameworks for:
? Foundational learning
? Skill progression
Support teams in designing contextual, level-appropriate learning experiences
?? Program Quality & Classroom Observation
? Conduct regular classroom observations across all program areas:
? Academics (Hindi, English, Math)
? Library
? Makers Lab
? Sports
? Focus on:
? Student engagement
? Teaching practices
? Learning outcomes
? Identify strengths, gaps, and patterns across programs
? Ensure that sessions are purposeful, engaging, and aligned to learning goals
?? Feedback, Coaching & Teacher Development
? Conduct structured debriefs with educators and program leads
? Provide clear, actionable feedback based on observations
? Ask reflective questions to build ownership and thinking
? Mentor program leads to:
? Improve decision-making
? Strengthen execution
? Design and facilitate teacher training and coaching processes
? Build a culture of:
? Feedback
? Reflection
? Continuous improvement
?? Data, Tracking & Outcomes
? Build and maintain systems for:
? Student progress tracking
? Attendance and participation
? Program-level indicators
? Regularly review data to:
? Identify gaps and trends
? Drive interventions
? Ensure decisions are data-informed, not assumption-driven
?? Program Integration & Systems Building
? Ensure alignment across:
? Academics, library, makers lab, sports, outreach
? Build systems for:
? Observation
? Feedback
? Quality assurance
? Strengthen integration between:
? Basti programs ? Buniyaad ? other pathways
? Create processes that ensure consistency even as the organization grows
?? Direct Engagement with Teaching
? Take regular sessions to:

? Work closely with program leads to:
? Set priorities

? Working Days: Monday to Saturday
? Daily Timings: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
