- The Manager – Corporate Meal Packaging Events (National) is responsible for national coordination, governance, and consistency of paid corporate meal packaging events across all locations (Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, and other geographies as applicable).
The role works through location-based teams to ensure that corporate events are deliverable, compliant, cost?controlled, and provide a high?quality donor experience aligned with organizational standards and signed MOUs.
Core Accountability
Own the national readiness and coordination system for paid meal packaging events, while execution responsibility rests with location teams.
The role is accountable for maintaining accurate, complete, and timely national?level master data for its domain. Data integrity, reporting readiness, and “single source of truth” ownership form a key performance pillar of the role.
1. National Coordination of Paid or Sponsored Packaging Events
- Coordinate with city/location teams to plan and schedule paid corporate meal packaging events
- Ensure each event meets national standards for:
- Authorization
- Cost and resource validation
- Quality and safety
- Act as the national focal point for corporate event readiness across locations
2. Pre?Event Governance & Authorization
- Lead pre?event processes nationally, including:
- Feasibility review
- Documentation completeness
- Input consolidation for authorization by the Senior Manager – Meal Packaging Programs
- Ensure alignment with signed MOUs and approved commitments
3. Post?Event Consolidation & Reporting Inputs
- Coordinate post?event documentation and completion reports from locations
- Compile national event data and provide structured inputs to:
- Corporate Relations & Reporting Manager
- Senior Manager – Meal Packaging Programs
4. Surge Capacity & Non?Core Geography Support
- Coordinate deployment of facilitators or mobile teams for:
- Events outside the four core locations (cities where Rise Against Hunger India currently have offices and packaging capacity)
- High?volume or high?visibility corporate events
- Step in to facilitate or support events when required, especially during:
- Scale?up phases
- New partner engagement
- Quality resets
- Complete pre-event processes for such locations including identification of new NGOs, meal recipient validation, documentation etc.
- Coordinate with the Admin & Warehouse teams on transport, logistics and other related items
5. Continuous Improvement & Standardization
- Strengthen national SOPs, checklists, and event preparation templates
- Share learning and best practices across city teams
- Flag systemic risks or bottlenecks to senior leadership
6. National Event & Partner Data Ownership (Core Responsibility)
- Maintain a national master database of all paid corporate meal packaging events, including:
- Corporate partner details
- Number and type of events conducted
- Locations where events were held
- Volunteer participation numbers
- Meals packaged per event / partner
- Event dates and formats
- Ensure real?time visibility into:
- Upcoming authorized events
- Completed events
- Events pending documentation or closure
- Act as the single source of truth for:
- “Which corporate has done how many events?”
- “Across which locations?”
- “With how many volunteers and meals packaged?”
- Compile standardized event data from all locations and ensure:
- Accuracy
- Completeness
- Timely updates
- Provide structured data inputs to:
- Senior Manager – Meal Packaging Programs
- Corporate Relations & Reporting Manager
- Resource Mobilization (for partner history and re?engagement)
Skills & Experience
- 8+ years’ experience in events, operations, or program delivery
- Experience coordinating teams across multiple locations
- Strong process discipline and documentation orientation
- Comfort balancing donor expectations with operational realities
- Willingness and ability to step into delivery when needed
