Role Overview
Dost is seeking young, enthusiastic individuals who are driven, motivated, and passionate about making a
social impact by working directly with the community, Anganwadi workers, and government functionaries in
community engagement and mobilisation across the blocks and districts of Uttarakhand.
As a Field Coordinator, you will engage with and mobilise parents and caregivers of children aged 0-6,
equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and mindset needed to foster holistic child development. You will
also schedule and facilitate sector-wide orientation workshops with all Anganwadi Workers, building their
capacity for responsive caregiving and effective program implementation.
We are looking for someone who thrives on pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities by
collaborating closely with front-line workers and community influencers. You will report directly to the District
Lead and work closely with the Program Team to achieve meaningful results.

Key Responsibilities
Field Implementation and Community Outreach
? Build a strong ground presence for Dost Education by prioritising in-person visits to Anganwadi
Centres (AWCs), engaging with community members to expand organisational visibility, and reaching
out to the maximum number of caregivers.
? Conduct home visits to onboard parents to the phonecast program.
Training and Government Coordination
? Orient functionaries of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS), including Anganwadi
Workers (AWWs), regarding the Parvarish program during block-level and sector-level meetings.
? Prepare review documents and liaise with government officials for continuous program improvement.
Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation
? Consistently document program activities and prepare detailed reports.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Support
? Regularly update stakeholders on program progress and participate in relevant forums.
? Actively assist the communication team by sharing caregiver testimonials/case studies and
promoting program visibility.
Who You Are
? Freshers with prior experience.
? A Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent experience working with communities.
? Proficient in leveraging technology in education (added advantage).
? Strong organisational and time management skills.
? Excellent communication and presentation skills in Hindi and local languages.
? A knack for problem-solving and eagerness to learn and unlearn.
? Possess a valid driving license and have access to a two-wheeler for field travel (added advantage).
? Preference will be given to local candidates, as familiarity with the area will be considered an added
advantage for this role.
