Role Overview:

(Mental Health Counsellor) is responsible for conducting mental health screenings in a safe and private environment, ensuring participant comfort, accurate assessment, and appropriate guidance for further support.

Key Responsibilities:

? Engage participants in a private, one-at-a-time setting ensuring comfort and confidentiality
? Build rapport through active listening and supportive communication
? Administer mental health questionnaires and record responses accurately in the portal
? Review relevant physical health findings impacting mental well-being
? Document behavioural observations and obtain required participant consent/signatures
? Guide participants on available support services (e.g., Tele-MANAS) when needed
? Ensure ethical practices, confidentiality, and data privacy at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

? Degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW), Psychology, or Counselling
? 1-2 years of experience in mental health, social work, or community programs
? Basic knowledge of digital tools and mental health screening methods
Preferred Skills:

? Empathy and strong interpersonal communication
? Observational and listening skills
? High level of discretion and ethical responsibility

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

? Completion and accuracy of mental health assessments
? Quality of observations recorded in the portal
? Adherence to privacy and consent protocols
? Effectiveness in guiding participants to support services
