EcoPrism Collective Foundation is a nonprofit organization incubated by the alumni of Social Work Students from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi India. Eco Prism has been registered as Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 with the objective to collectively contribute towards building healthy ecosystems that can enhance education advancement, people's livelihood and counteract climate change to stop the collapse of biodiversity.
Vision: To Create an enabling ecosystem based on environmental ethics & sustainable practices to achieve social and economic development for all sections of society and more specifically among Farmer, Women and Adolescents.

Mission: To Build a Community of Practitioners committed to inclusive growth, by protecting and restoring the ecological footprint through environmental education and action for sustainability.
About Programme: Building Climate Smart School and Climate Resilient Village
ECOPRISM works with/enable a set of Eco Change Makers to design and implement integrated programme on the key principles of environment safety, climate protection and sustainability through individual and collective actions. Ecoprism is working with the education personnel's (Headmaster, Teacher and Student Clubs) and community in selected village and schools of Samastipur district (Bihar) to create green model schools and strengthen eco clubs as well as implementing a comprehensive integrated model to strengthen school community relationships to bring behaviour transformation among key stakeholders.
In order to cope with the change in climate, EcoPrism is implementing a comprehensive integrated model 'Climate Resilient Village' (CRV) in Benipur Khurd Village of Haruaha block of Varanasi. The programme aims to promote affordable and replicable adaptation and mitigation practices to enhance livelihood of vulnerable communities and explore alternative farming practices. EcoPrism Collective Foundation works with marginal Farmer's to adopt climate-smart agricultural practices and production to ensure food security as well as boost their annual income. The Multipurpose Education Environment Centre will engage with the Women SHG group in enhancing their knowledge and skills for economic independence while adopting green livelihood.
Ecoprism Flagship Programmes:
Haritshala (Green School Initiative): Haritshala programme is designed to build Conservation leadership in schools and communities to reconnect learners with nature and our planet. The programme fosters 21st Century skills and equips eco-club students with the analytical ability needed to make responsible, eco-friendly decisions today for a more sustainable tomorrow. Through hands-on nature experiences and critical thinking, students learn to make responsible choices and develop powerful sustainable models for future generations.
Krishishala ( Natural Farming Initiative): Krishisala program is designed to promote self-reliant, chemical-free agriculture. It aims to reduce farmers' dependence on external inputs, lower cultivation costs, and encourage sustainable use of natural resources. Through this initiative, we strive to build resilient and economically secure farming communities while ensuring environmental sustainability. Farmer's Club being formed through Krishishala will display climate resilient behaviours and adoption of natural farming practices to ensure food security.
About the Role
ECO-Prism is seeking a dynamic Program Associate to lead the implementation of Green School and school-community transformation programs in the assigned block. The Program Associate will work closely with teachers, Headmasters, Eco-Clubs students, youth groups, communities, and government stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor project activities across schools.

The role includes conducting project based learning sessions for class 6th to 8th related to environment activities, developing model green schools, strengthening Eco-Clubs, building the capacity of Eco club coordinators (Teachers) and HMs, promoting teacher and student-led environmental initiatives. She/He also coordinates with the Block Education Officer (BEO) and community stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation. The position requires regular school visits, stakeholder engagement, documentation of best practices, data collection, reporting, and continuous support to schools and communities under the guidance of the Program Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Lead implementation of Green school model, clubs and Community activities in assigned blocks.
2. Support teachers and Headmasters (HMs) in program implementation and parents /community level engagement.
3. Capturing and sharing good Practices/success stories from the community and School.
4. Provide handholding Support to Eco club coordinator (Teachers) and HMs of Green School Initiatives at block level to understand the nuances of Organizational key Project activities and objectives.
5. Conduct assigned PBL sessions, regular school visits, monitoring, mentoring, and follow-up support to assigned schools in the block.
6. To build strong liasioning /relations with the block education officer, eco club master trainer, Eco club coordinators (Teachers), community level stakeholders as per project need.

KRA:1: Ensure block level engagement, school and communities level implementation.
1. Ensure all program related activities are being implemented at Block and School levels, including Virtual and Physical Training Sessions, Follow up plan, green model school, Students clubs (Bal Sansad/ Eco club/STEM clubs) , Environmental activities, Community and Parents engagements, Career Sessions, etc.
2. Develop model green schools in blocks and help the school-based stakeholders to develop a plan for their respective schools.
3. Work closely with the Student Clubs (Bal Sansad/Eco club/STEM club) to conduct green school audit and demonstrate Green change project.
4. Ensure implementation of School/community level activities in all the schools of the block through a blended approach.
5. Influence teachers/HMs to ensure its application as a change project.
6. Co-facilitate regular meetings with teachers, Headmasters and community members to understand the program realities and provide required support.

KRA:2 Ensuring School Level Support
1. Facilitate environmental education sessions and project based lessons for Eco club members and class 6th to 8th students.
2. Work closely with Head masters and Eco Club Coordinators to ensure school related activities being conducted smoothly.
3. Organise planning and review meetings at school and block level with Head Masters and BEOs.
4. Provide support in planning and organizing PTM meetings at school level and organize student prototype exhibitions.
5. Ensure media engagement at block level and contribute to the social media presence of the school/community program.
6. Conduct various Environment related events and activities at school for specific dates as well as conduct various kind of environment competitions at school and block level

KRA:3 Relationship Management
1. Lead and facilitate relationship building at block, school and community level.
2. Facilitate the process of Parents and Community level Engagement in respective schools.
3. Facilitate program related activities at block/ school/ community.
4. Prepare monthly progress report and share program updates with the block education officers.
5. Build relationships with master trainers in respective block and organise exposure visit for green model schools

KRA:4 Training and Capacity Building
1. Provide Support to HMs, Teachers and community to understand the nuances of School/ community program objectives and key project activities.
2. Support Program Coordinator and provide support in developing plan and finalizing reports as per requirement.
3. Support and contribute in content development, session plan design and training modules.
4. Participate and co- facilitate capacity building sessions and refresher training for Head Master/ Headmasters/Mothers' clubs/community.
5. Take lead in providing all logistical support and arrangement for block-level workshops and training programs.
6. Conduct ideathon and hackathon with student clubs and provide technology support in developing tech based prototypes/projects.

KRA:5 Reporting
1. Adhere to data management plan and systems for School/community program and contribute effectively
2. Ensure documenting and reporting of activities, case studies and best practices as per the plan.
3. Provide regular written and verbal reports and track progress against the work plan and implementation schedules.
4. Support coordination of baseline/ endline and other assessments.
5. Use appropriate M&E tools for reporting on a regular basis and ensure data is updated regularly in the database.
6. Collect data as needed for compilation of donor and Organization report.
7. Support with the documentation of training/ meeting/ event reports.
8. Support in all reporting requirements such as quarterly, half-yearly and annual reviews and reports.
9. Participate and contribute in team meetings, reviews and other team engagement activities.
10. Ensure block/school/community level reports are prepared and shared.

KRA:5 Engage in Career Growth and Adherence to System and Process
1. Adhere to all the finance and administrative policies of the organization
2. Ensure systems and processes are understand and adhered by you and your team
3. Identify personal development needs and contribute in achieving personal development goal.
4. Participating in team meetings and reviews, staff engagement activities.

Qualification and Experience:

A Graduation/ Master's degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 1-3 years of work experience preferably who have worked in education and environment sector and engaged with community directly
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
* Demonstrated prior experience in working with teachers, facilitators and young adults
* Have experience in building relationships with Government and Partners.
* Strong research, analysis, and organizational skills
* Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
* Ability to train school personnel, field team and Community members
* Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
* Flexible with travel and Proficient in MS Office tools, Internet, video editing & social media.
* Is passionate about working to solve challenges and can deal with ambiguity and proactively explore solutions
* Past experience of working with women and aspects of gender and diversity and inclusion is a good to have
