Job Title: Project Coordinator

Job Purpose
The Project Coordinator will support the planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of the SALONI Project activities at field and district/state level. The role involves close coordination with government departments, community stakeholders, partner organizations, and field teams to ensure timely and quality implementation of project interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Coordination:
* Coordinate day-to-day implementation of SALONI project activities as per approved work plans.
* Ensure timely execution of field activities, trainings, meetings, campaigns, and community engagement initiatives.
* Support the development and tracking of monthly and quarterly implementation plans.
* Coordinate with field teams and partners for smooth project operations.

Stakeholder Engagement:
* Maintain regular coordination with government departments, local authorities, community leaders, and partner organizations.
* Represent the project in meetings, reviews, and coordination forums at district/state level.
* Strengthen collaboration with frontline workers, community groups, and institutions.

Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting:
* Monitor progress of project activities against targets and indicators.
* Collect, compile, and analyze project data and field reports.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and donor reports with quality documentation.
* Document success stories, case studies, best practices, and lessons learned.

Capacity Building:
* Support planning and facilitation of trainings, orientations, workshops for staff and stakeholders.
* Provide supportive supervision and guidance to field teams.
* Assist in developing IEC/SBCC materials and community mobilization strategies.

Financial & Administrative Support:
* Support budget tracking and ensure activities are implemented within approved budgets.
* Coordinate logistics for trainings, meetings, field visits, and events.
* Maintain proper project records and documentation.

Field Monitoring:
* Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation quality and provide technical support.
* Identify implementation challenges and suggest corrective actions.
* Ensure timely follow-up on action points from reviews and field observations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Master's/Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Rural Development, Sociology, Development Studies, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination and implementation in development sector projects.
* Experience in community mobilization, health, nutrition, WASH, gender, education, or livelihood projects preferred.
* Experience working with government systems and community-based programs will be an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies:
* Strong coordination and communication skills.
* Good report writing and documentation skills.
* Knowledge of community engagement and SBCC approaches.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively in project areas.
