Job Description for PTS at Udaan Trust, Nana Peth, Pune
Position: Project Technical Support (PTS)

Venue: Pune, Nana Peth Office

Project: Virtual Based Intervention Research Project (Reaching clients
active on virtual networks)

Duration: 4 Months (Extendable based on project requirements and performance)
Location: Pune / Field & Virtual Mode
Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 23,400/- per month (subject to tax
deduction as per applicable laws).
About the Project
The Virtual Based Intervention Research Project aims to strengthen outreach, engagement, and
support services among key populations through virtual and community-based interventions.
The project focuses on awareness generation, data collection, capacity building, ethical
research practices, and strengthening linkages with community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct outreach activities, community engagement, and data collection as per project
requirements.
2. Ensure informed consent is obtained from all study participants and that ethical
standards are followed throughout the study procedures.
3. Maintain quality, accuracy, and completeness of project data and related
documentation.
4. Implement awareness campaigns, group sessions, mobilization activities, and virtual
engagement initiatives among target populations.
5. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to data
extraction, collection, storage, and confidentiality.
6. Ensure maintenance and completeness of all on-site and virtual documentation records.
7. Reach and engage a minimum of 375 clients during the project period through virtual
and field-based interventions, including:
o TG (Transgender Persons) - 40%
o MSM (Men who have Sex with Men) - 40%
o Other vulnerable population groups - 20%
8. Coordinate with community stakeholders, peer educators of other projects, and project
teams to ensure effective implementation of project activities.
9. Prepare periodic reports, progress updates, and documentation required by the project
management team.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
? Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or
related disciplines preferred. This position is reserved for candidate from HRG
community.
? Experience in community outreach, research projects, HIV/AIDS interventions, or
working with key populations will be preferred.
? Good communication and interpersonal skills.
? Basic knowledge of data collection tools, documentation, and virtual communication
platforms.
? Ability to work independently and in community settings.
? Sensitivity and commitment towards working with marginalized and vulnerable
communities.
Nature of Engagement
This position is purely short term employment for an initial period of four months, extendable
based on project needs, funding availability, and performance assessment.
