The Coordinator – Accounts will be a crucial member of the Operational Support Team within Breakthrough Trust’s Finance and Operations Center. Reporting to the Manager, Finance & Operations, or their designate, the role involves overseeing various accounting functions and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position also requires effective coordination with other sub-units.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
A)              Accounting:
  • Handle all aspects of accounting, including vouching, documentation, data entry, ledger review, and payment/receipt processing.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure timely settlement of open items.
  • Ensure timely updating and maintenance of databases in the ERP system and offline. Sound knowledge of TDS.
B) Coordination:
  • Collaborate with other sub-units within the Finance & Operations center and the Human Resource Management center.
C) Other Tasks:
  • Undertake any additional tasks as assigned from time to time.
Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:
  • Graduate with 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Sound working knowledge of Tally & using MS-Office is essential.
  • Prior experience with non-profit organizations is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong team-working spirit.
