About this Position
The State Operations Manager will play a key role in facilitating coordination with the State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) and ensuring effective implementation of program activities on the ground. The position will closely work with state, district, and block-level stakeholders to drive program alignment. This role demands strong engagement with both institutional partners and community stakeholders and involves extensive travel to project locations to ensure timely execution, quality outcomes, and sustainable impact.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain strong partnerships with the State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) and other key stakeholders.
- Lead and oversee implementation program across the state, ensuring timely execution, quality delivery, and effective monitoring of activities.
- Provide capacity-building support to SRLM teams at the state, district, and block levels.
- Facilitate collaboration with government departments, community institutions, and other stakeholders to achieve program objectives.
- Drive effective internal and external communication to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive program documentation, progress reports, and IEC materials.
Expected Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in program implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders, community institutions
- Strong understanding of rural development and livelihood promotion
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Effective stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
- Ability to work independently while driving collaboration across multiple levels.
- High adaptability and resilience in field-driven environments
Educational Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work/Rural Development/Development Studies (Preferred) or any other relevant discipline
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience working in field-based projects
