The Indian Missionary Society (IMS) Varanasi is seeking passionate and skilled professional to join our mission to promote inclusive development and empower children and communities. We have current opening for Psychological Counsellor Consultant to support our ongoing Project Early Identification and Early Intervention for children with developmental delays and disabilities in Sewapuri Block, Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh.

Position Summary:
Psychological Counsellor Consultant: Offer counselling services, assessments, and interventions for children and families.
Qualification Required: Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Postgraduate Diploma/Executive Diploma in Counselling Psychology
Skill Required: Knowledge of counselling approaches: cognitive-behavioural, psychodynamic, existential-humanistic/technical counselling skills (assessment, diagnosis, group facilitation) with soft skills (empathy, communication, adaptability) and a strong commitment to ethics and cultural sensitivity.
Roles & Responsibilities: Supporting children and adults with communication challenges to participate fully in education and community life. Training to teachers and field animators to identify and support speech/language needs. Promoting inclusive practices by addressing communication barriers. Empowering individuals with improved communication skills, boosting confidence and participation
Experience Required: Practical training in techniques like art therapy, play therapy, and family counselling:
Compensation /Salary: 300,000 CTC per annum
