ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.
Job Description
The role requires the Manager – Digital Learning to lead ASCI’s digital education and e-learning initiatives, including development and management of online training systems, digital content, virtual learning delivery, and technology-enabled capacity building programs.
• Digital Learning Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage digital learning initiatives including LMS platforms, e-learning modules, webinars, online trainings, and virtual workshops.
• Content Development: Coordinate development of digital training content, presentations, videos, manuals, assessments, and learning resources related to agriculture and skill development.
• Learning Platform Management: Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS), learner databases, digital assessments, certification tracking, and online engagement tools.
• Training Coordination: Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and technical teams for smooth execution of digital learning programs.
• Digital Innovation: Support adoption of innovative learning technologies, blended learning approaches, mobile learning tools, and online engagement mechanisms.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track learner participation, course completion, engagement analytics, feedback, and training effectiveness through digital platforms.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with training partners, government departments, educational institutions, and implementation agencies for digital learning initiatives.
• Documentation & Quality Assurance: Ensure quality standards in digital content, learning processes, and online training delivery mechanisms.
• Project Support: Assist in implementation of Government, CSR, and fee-based projects through digital learning strategies and online capacity-building initiatives.
• Additional Tasks: Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators and Competencies
• Strong communication and English writing skills.
• Good understanding of digital learning systems, LMS platforms, and online training methodologies.
• Experience in e-learning content coordination and virtual training management.
• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace, and online collaboration tools.
• Basic understanding of instructional design, online assessments, and learner engagement tools.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage projects independently.
• Interest in agriculture, skilling ecosystem, and technology-enabled education.
Educational Qualification
• Post Graduate or Graduate in Education Technology, Agribusiness, Rural Management, Management, Development Studies, Agriculture, Computer Applications, or Allied Sector.
• Candidates from reputed institutes/universities.
Experience (no. of years & kind)
4–6 years of relevant experience in digital learning management, e-learning platforms, online training coordination, LMS operations, or educational technology projects.
Experience in skilling, education, agriculture, CSR, or development sector projects will be preferred.
SALARY
CTC: Rs 8 Lakhs to Rs 10 Lakhs per annum (depending upon experience and suitability).
