ASCI is an autonomous body working as Sector Skill Council under the aegis of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), dedicated to enhancing vocational education and creating National Occupational Standards (NOS) for agriculture and allied sectors. Our mission involves promoting employment, facilitating government skilling initiatives and organizing Rozgar Melas in collaboration with diverse stakeholders. ASCI also functions as the apex body for skill development in the Agriculture and Allied Sectors and is recognized as an Awarding Body by the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET).
In past 13 years, ASCI has trained & certified approximately 1.6 million workforces comprising of farmers, wage workers, entrepreneurs and extension workers across Pan India under the different schemes and domain of agriculture and allied segments.
Job Description
The role requires the Data Entry Operators – Training and Assessment Programs to support data entry, MIS management, documentation, reporting, and operational coordination related to training and assessment activities under various Government, CSR, and fee-based skill development projects implemented by ASCI.
• Data Entry & MIS Management: Enter, update, verify, and maintain training, assessment, candidate, and centre-related data on MIS portals, spreadsheets, and project databases.
• Documentation Support: Maintain digital and physical records including attendance sheets, assessment reports, candidate documentation, photographs, invoices, and project files.
• Data Verification: Verify accuracy and completeness of records received from training centres, assessment agencies, trainers, and implementation teams.
• Reporting Support: Assist in preparation of progress reports, trackers, dashboards, summaries, and project-related documentation.
• Portal Management: Support data uploading and management on relevant Government, NSDC, SSC, and project portals.
• Coordination Support: Coordinate with training centres, NGOs, trainers, assessment agencies, and internal teams for timely submission and correction of data.
• Compliance Documentation: Support maintenance of project documentation and records as per operational guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Communication Support: Assist in email communication, document sharing, meeting coordination, and follow-up with stakeholders.
• Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain systematic filing and archival of project-related records and documents.
• Additional Tasks: Any other responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
Key Performance Indicators and Competencies
• Good typing speed and accuracy in data entry operations.
• Basic communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, and data management tools.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency and process orientation.
• Basic understanding of MIS systems and documentation processes.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and work within timelines.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Educational Qualification
Graduate or Diploma holder in Computer Applications, Management, Commerce, Agriculture, Rural Development, or Allied Sector from recognized institutes/universities.
Candidates from reputed institutes/universities.
Experience (no. of years & kind)
Freshers to 2 years of relevant experience in data entry operations, MIS handling, office administration, project documentation, or backend operational support.
Fresh graduates with good computer proficiency and reporting skills are encouraged to apply.
