Job Description – Operations Manager

Objective:
The Operations Manager – Mega Skill, Jharkhand reports to the Project/State Head and contributes towards ensuring capacity utilization through timely mobilization, candidate & parent counselling, training of the students in all the centres in the territory assigned as per prescribed curriculum to ensure successfully completion of the training course, placement counselling along with company orientation and revenue generation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
The Operations Manager – Mega Skill, Jharkhand performs following duties:

People Management:
• To ensure all people working under her are working as per stipulated guidelines
• Inspiring, building and managing the team effectively to bring accountability to the team and providing support to all stakeholders.
• To liaise with Govt.

Operations Management:
• Coordinating and periodically visiting the Centre to ensure :

Mobilising:
o Mobilising efforts undertaken by the Centre Managers
o Results of such mobilising efforts
o Taking corrective action & guiding the centre managers to ensure proper mobilising of students
o Giving any lead to the Centre Managers for mobilising
o Ensuring College and Tuition centre tie-up with Centre Manager and sending daily report to State Head
o Attendance of all trainers
o Attendance of all students
o Steps being taken to track & bring back the missing students
o Proper record keeping of monthly revenue, exam date and other centre related data
• Checking session report of all the centres on a daily basis and ensuring assessments are conducted periodically

Cash Management :
• Keeping proper record of all expenses
• Collating all the expense reports received from the centre and submission to State Head.
Risk Assessment & Compliance:
• Complying with the Risk assessment matrix and mitigation plan as made by the Management
• Compliance with laid down Quality systems and maintaining accounting standards without any deviation

Placement of candidates:
• Proper counselling of candidates before they join the batch
• Regular feedback sessions with their parent on progress made and why placements are important
• Coordinating the Company orientation process
• Follow up with candidates and parent who back out of placements after the training is completed.
• Conducting Alumni session with ex-students and video calls with working candidates
• Conducting Parents/Trainers/Candidates meetings at least twice during the training duration
• Staying in regular touch with candidates while they are at their workplace along with the respective batch trainer.
