Position Overview
The Consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs on soft life skills and financial literacy for ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) and AWW (Anganwadi Worker) participants. The consultant will support capacity-building initiatives aimed at improving communication, confidence, decision-making abilities, digital awareness, financial management, and the overall professional effectiveness of frontline workers.
The consultant will work closely with the project team to ensure high-quality training delivery, participant engagement, and achievement of training objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and facilitate interactive training sessions for ASHA and AWW workers on life skills and financial literacy topics.
• Develop participant-friendly training materials, presentations, activities, and assessment tools.
• Ensure inclusive, participatory, and gender-sensitive training methodologies.
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to evaluate participants’ learning outcomes.
• Provide mentoring and handholding support to participants during and after the training sessions.
• Coordinate with project staff and stakeholders for training planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Maintain attendance records, session documentation, and participant feedback data.
• Submit periodic progress updates and final training reports to the organization.
Scope of Work / Deliverables:
• Conduct training sessions to build participants’ capacities in five life skills components, including problem-solving, decision-making, gender sensitivity, digital literacy, and confidence building.
• Deliver financial literacy sessions covering budgeting, savings, banking services, digital payments, government schemes, and financial planning.
• Identify knowledge and performance gaps among participants and recommend improvement strategies.
• Facilitate feedback collection through training evaluation forms after each training session.
• Develop training modules, IEC materials, and session plans tailored to the learning needs of ASHA and AWW workers.
• Ensure active participation and engagement of trainees through group activities, role plays, discussions, and practical exercises.
• Conduct baseline and endline assessments to measure training effectiveness and participant progress.
• Provide post-training support and guidance to participants for the practical application of learned skills.
• Maintain proper documentation of training activities, including attendance sheets, photographs, case studies, and feedback summaries.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports summarizing trainings conducted, participant coverage, key outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with field teams and local stakeholders for the smooth execution of training activities.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks in line with project timelines and quality standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Rural Development, Public Health, Management, or related fields.
• Minimum experience in conducting community-based training programs, preferably with frontline workers, women’s groups, or government stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of life skills education, gender issues, and financial literacy concepts.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to conduct training sessions in local languages and adapt content for diverse audiences.
• Experience in report writing and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital training tools will be preferred.

Salary / Remuneration:
Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 40,000 per month
