Role Overview
As an Anthropology Faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping aspirants through a structured, analytical and exam-oriented approach. Your role will go beyond classroom teaching to include mentorship, academic planning and performance tracking of students.
Key Responsibilities (Detailed)
* Deliver structured and engaging lectures covering the complete Anthropology Optional syllabus for UPSC/OPSC
* Teach Physical Anthropology, Social-Cultural Anthropology, Indian Anthropology, Tribal Studies, Archaeological Anthropology, and Applied Anthropology
* Prepare lesson plans, topic-wise modules and long-term preparation strategies for students
* Conduct answer-writing practice, case study discussions and evaluation sessions
* Provide personalized mentoring, doubt-clearing and academic guidance
* Develop high-quality notes, handouts, model answers and test series materials
* Integrate current anthropological issues, tribal studies and contemporary developments into classroom discussions
* Analyze previous year question papers and evolving examination trends
* Conduct regular mock tests, assessments, and student performance reviews
* Support students in improving analytical writing and conceptual clarity
* Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum development and content enhancement
Eligibility & Qualification
* Master's Degree in Anthropology
* Candidates who have appeared in UPSC/OPSC Anthropology Optional will be preferred
* Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in Anthropology for competitive examinations

* Bilingual teaching ability (English + Odia/Hindi preferred)
Additional Advantage
* Experience in UPSC/OPSC Anthropology Optional coaching
* Research experience in tribal studies, indigenous knowledge, or development studies
* Publication, fieldwork or academic research experience in Anthropology
