Placement Coordinator

Location- Mulund

Job Description

- The Placement Coordinator is responsible for facilitating employment opportunities for Industrial Training students by building relationships with industry partners, coordinating campus recruitment activities, and supporting students in developing employability skills.

Key Responsibilities

I. Industry Engagement

1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies, factories, MSMEs, and industry associations for student placements.

2. Identify potential employers and create partnerships for recruitment drives, apprenticeships, and internships.

3. Coordinate with HR departments of companies to understand their manpower requirements.

II. Student Placement Activities

1. Organize campus placement drives and job fairs for Industrial Training students.

2. Maintain a database of students eligible for placements across various trades.

3. Match student skills with employer requirements and recommend suitable candidates.

III. Career Guidance & Training

1. Coordinate sessions on resume preparation, interview skills, workplace behavior, and career planning.

2. Guide students on industry expectations and job opportunities related to their trade.

3. Coordinate soft skills and employability training programs.

IV.Employer Coordination

1. Schedule and facilitate interviews, trade tests, and recruitment processes.

2. Ensure smooth logistics and communication during campus recruitment events.

3. Collect feedback from employers regarding student performance and skill gaps.

V. Data Management & Reporting

1. Maintain records of placements, employer contacts, and recruitment statistics.

2. Track placement outcomes including number of students placed, salary levels, and sectors.

3. Prepare periodic placement reports for institute management and government authorities.

VI. Apprenticeship Programs

1. Facilitate student enrollment in apprenticeship programs under schemes such as the....

2. Coordinate with industry partners to ensure compliance with apprenticeship guidelines.

VII. Alumni and Industry Network

1. Maintain an alumni network to support mentorship and future placement opportunities.

2. Engage alumni working in industries for guest lectures and industry exposure.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other stresm - Education, or related field.

2. Prior experience in training, placement coordination, or HR recruitment preferred.

4. Knowledge of skill development and vocational training ecosystem
