Role Overview
The CSS Senior Manager will support the implementation and coordination of Community Led Monitoring (CLM) activities under the Community System Strengthening (CSS) initiative of the GFATM GC7 project. The role involves close coordination with State AIDS Control Societies (SACS), DISHA teams, Community Champions (CCs), and partner organisations to ensure smooth implementation of field activities, trainings, monitoring, and reporting processes across assigned states.
The ideal candidate should possess strong programme coordination, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, along with experience working in public health, HIV/AIDS programmes, or community-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Coordination and Implementation
- Coordinate implementation of Community Led Monitoring (CLM) activities across assigned states.
- Support planning and execution of CSS and CLM roll-out activities in coordination with SACS, DISHA teams, and partner organisations.
- Maintain regular follow-up with Community Champions (CCs) and facilitate their participation in programme activities.
- Support implementation and monitoring of field activities in line with NACO guidelines and project timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operational execution of project activities.
Training & Capacity Building
- Organise and coordinate trainings, workshops, and capacity-building sessions for Community Champions, DISHA members, and stakeholders.
- Support participant communication, logistics management, venue coordination, training documentation, and reporting.
- Facilitate training sessions and provide operational support during programme events.
- Maintain training databases, attendance records, and follow-up documentation.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with SACS, DISHA teams, CSCs, community representatives, and other stakeholders for programme implementation.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and community stakeholders.
- Participate in review meetings, consultations, and planning discussions related to CSS and CLM activities.
Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
- Track implementation progress and maintain programme documentation.
- Prepare activity reports, meeting minutes, training reports, and periodic project updates.
- Support compilation of monitoring indicators, data management, and donor reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of reports and project documentation.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate scheduling, communication, and logistics for meetings and field activities.
- Maintain project records, databases, and operational documentation.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by the supervisor in relation to CSS and CLM implementation.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–9 years of experience in Community System Strengthening (CSS), HIV/AIDS programmes, public health, or development sector projects.
- Experience working with government departments, SACS, community networks, and development stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating trainings, workshops, and community mobilisation activities.
- Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within project states.
