Job Title - Sr. Manager – Fund Raising

AFARM is a leading network-based development organization working across Maharashtra for sustainable rural development through partnerships with grassroots NGOs, CSR institutions, government agencies, and development partners. AFARM works in the areas of sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, watershed development, climate resilience, women empowerment, natural resource management, and institutional strengthening.
AFARM invites applications for the position of Sr. Manager – Fund Raising to strengthen institutional fundraising, donor partnerships, and strategic resource mobilization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising and resource mobilization strategies aligned with organizational priorities.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities from CSR companies, donor agencies, philanthropic foundations, and institutional funders.
- Lead preparation of concept notes, grant proposals, donor presentations, and partnership documents.
- Build and maintain relationships with CSR partners, donors, foundations, and strategic stakeholders.
- Coordinate with program, finance, and M&E teams for proposal development, donor reporting, and grant management.
- Support institutional visibility through donor communication materials, impact stories, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain donor databases, fundraising trackers, and partnership documentation.
Qualification & Experience
- Master’s degree in Rural Management, Social Work, , Business Administration, Marketing , Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, donor relations, proposal development, or resource mobilization in the development sector.
- Strong proposal writing, communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Marathi/Hindi will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
