About the Project
Sabuj Sangha, with support from LTIMindtree, is implementing the “Centre for Excellence on Rural Livelihood” project in Kumargram Block of Alipurduar. The project focuses on women-led livelihood promotion, eco-friendly enterprises, handicraft development, financial inclusion, market linkage, and community institution strengthening. Through innovative and sustainable livelihood models such as Areca Leaf Processing, Mekhla Weaving, and Upcycled Handicraft Production, the initiative aims to improve economic resilience and empower rural women and marginalized communities.
Job Title : Communication Manager
Location: Kolkata
Salary: INR 40,000/- per month
Job Summary:
Sabuj Sangha is looking for an energetic and creative Communication Manager to strengthen branding, communication, and market outreach for the project. The candidate will be responsible for developing communication strategies, connecting with e-commerce platforms, suppliers, institutional buyers, and online marketplaces, while promoting project products through digital campaigns, media engagement, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute communication and branding strategies for the project.
• Build and maintain partnerships with e-commerce platforms, e-suppliers, institutional buyers, and online marketplaces.
• Create visibility for project products through digital campaigns and promotional activities.
• Coordinate product cataloguing, branding, packaging, and online listings.
• Manage external communications, media relations, and donor communication materials.
• Prepare success stories, case studies, newsletters, brochures, and promotional content.
• Coordinate exhibitions, fairs, buyer-seller meets, and market outreach events.
• Support digital marketing initiatives for rural enterprise products.
• Ensure regular updates on website and social media platforms.
• Maintain communication with CSR stakeholders and external agencies.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the management related to programme implementation.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Communication, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in e-commerce handling, online marketplace coordination, and digital branding.
• Strong knowledge of communication tools, content writing, and digital outreach.
• Excellent networking and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in English, Bengali, and Hindi preferred.
• Experience in NGO/CSR sector will be an added advantage.
