IOM India is in search for a qualified, committed, and enthusiastic professional to be a part of an exciting team to work on labour migration and human rights.
 
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office and direct supervision of the National Project Officer, and technical guidance from the Senior Project Assistant (IOM India), the incumbent will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support related to the implementation of worker resource centre(s) in Karnataka. 
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Sciences, Law, Sustainability or a related field from an accredited academic institution with at least THREE years of relevant professional experience; or
  • High school diploma in the above fields with SIX years of relevant professional experience.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation.
  • Solid understanding of management principles.
  • Experience in assessing monitoring improvement plan status and progress from labour and human rights assessments.
  • Experience in drafting regular status and progress report.
  • Experience working with Government counterparts, UN agencies and/or non-governmental organizations is considered an asset.
Skills:
  • Strong quantitative business analysis skills, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for fieldwork.
Languages:
  • English (Fluent)
  • Kannada (Desirable)
