The organization works across several districts in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh, focusing on women’s rights, social development, and sustainable livelihoods.
Job Description
Chaitanya is looking for a Training Associate to support awareness, counselling, and training activities related to women’s rights and gender issues. The role involves working with women groups, schools, SHGs, and federations to spread awareness about legal rights and available support systems.
The candidate will also support counselling centre activities, documentation, and coordination with government departments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct awareness sessions on women’s rights and legal provisions at schools, SHGs, and federation levels.
• Support the functioning of the Counselling Centre and assist in case handling when required.
• Maintain documentation and records at the Counselling Centre.
• Coordinate with departments such as Police Station, Sakhi Centre, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), and Protection Officers.
• Assist in community outreach and awareness programs related to gender and women’s safety.
• Support training and capacity-building sessions for women groups.
• Ensure proper reporting and updates of activities.
Qualification:
• BSW / MSW or any equivalent degree in social sciences.
Experience:
• 1–2 years of experience in social development, counselling support, or community-based programs.
Skills Required:
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic understanding of women’s rights and gender issues.
• Ability to work with community groups and local institutions.
• Basic documentation and reporting skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media management and digital communication.
Salary
Rs.20,000 – Rs.25,000 per month
