Role Overview
As a Public Administration Faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping aspirants through a structured, analytical and exam-oriented approach. Your role will go beyond classroom teaching to include mentorship, academic planning and performance tracking of students.
Key Responsibilities (Detailed)
• Deliver comprehensive and engaging lectures covering the complete Public Administration Optional syllabus for UPSC/OPSC
• Teach Administrative Thinkers, Public Policy, Governance, Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Indian Administration and Administrative Ethics
• Prepare structured lesson plans, topic-wise modules, and academic schedules
• Conduct answer-writing practice sessions, evaluations and personalized feedback
• Integrate current affairs, governance issues, public policy developments and administrative reforms into classroom discussions
• Organize doubt-clearing sessions and one-on-one mentoring support
• Develop high-quality study materials, notes, handouts, flowcharts and test series content
• Conduct regular mock tests, quizzes, and performance assessments
• Analyze previous year questions and evolving examination trends to improve teaching methodology
• Guide students in developing analytical and administrative perspectives
• Collaborate with the academic team for curriculum planning and content development
Eligibility & Qualification
• Master’s Degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Governance or related discipline
• Candidates who have appeared in UPSC/OPSC Public Administration Optional will be preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Public Administration for competitive examinations
