SARVO Prayas Sansthan is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering rural communities through sustainable livelihoods, agriculture, education, women's empowerment, and capacity building in Madhubani, Supaul and Darbhanga district of Bihar. Its registered office and head office is in Madhubani district of Bihar.
SPS is implementing Educate Girls "Pragati Project" in 5 blocks of Darbhanga i.e. Manigacchi, Keoti, Tardih, Darbhanga Sadar and Alinagar .We are looking for a dynamic and motivated professional to join our team as an MIS cum Training Officer.

Position Summary

The MIS cum Training Officer will be responsible for managing project data, developing and maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS), preparing reports and dashboards, coordinating training programmes, and strengthening the capacities of project staff and community institutions. The position is for Darbhanga district but he/she has to attend office on a daily basis in Madhubani office.

Key Responsibilities

Management Information System (MIS)

Maintain accurate project databases and beneficiary records.
Collect, verify, compile, and analyze project data from field teams.
Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and donor-specific MIS reports.
Develop dashboards and data visualization tools using MS Excel and other MIS software.
Ensure data quality, completeness, and timely reporting.
Support monitoring, evaluation, and documentation activities.

Training & Capacity Building

Conduct Training Needs Assessments (TNA).
Develop training calendars, modules, manuals, presentations, and learning materials.
Organize and facilitate training programmes, workshops, and exposure visits.
Evaluate training effectiveness and document learning outcomes.

Documentation

Prepare case studies, success stories, reports, and presentations.
Maintain training records and documentation.
Support donor reporting and project reviews.

Essential Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Management, Statistics, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in the NGO/development sector.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Charts), MS Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with MIS software, Google Workspace, KoboToolbox/ODK, or similar data collection platforms is desirable.
Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
Good communication skills in Hindi and English will be required.
Willingness to travel extensively within project locations.

Coordination with government departments, donors, and community institutions.
Time management and teamwork.
Salary

Salary will be Rs. 20,000/- PM + Rs.2000 for conveyance

Note:- Candidates from Madhubani and Darbhanga district will be given preference.
Candidate should have two wheeler of his own with a valid driving license.
