Job Description – Coordinator Mobilization cum Placements

Job Title: Coordinator Mobilization cum Placements
Location: Hyderabad
Department: Skill Development / Training & Placement
Reporting To: Center Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:
The Coordinator Mobilization cum Placements will be responsible for driving student mobilization, managing college partnerships, and ensuring strong placement outcomes under the College Connect model. The role involves coordinating with colleges, candidates, training teams, and industry partners to ensure effective program delivery and employment generation.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in mobilization, placements, or skill development programs
- Experience working with ITIs, polytechnics, or educational institutions preferred
- Prior experience in handling placement targets and employer engagement
- Experience in NGO / Skill Development ecosystem is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:
Mobilization & Student Engagement:
- Plan and execute mobilization drives across colleges
- Conduct awareness sessions, orientations, and counseling sessions
- Coordinate with colleges for student data collection and batch formation
- Ensure achievement of mobilization targets and student conversions
College Connect & Coordination:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with college principals, faculty, and placement officers
- Conduct regular college visits and engagement activities
- Ensure smooth coordination for program delivery and student participation
Placement & Employer Engagement:
- Develop partnerships with employers across relevant industries
- Organize placement drives, job fairs, and campus recruitment activities
- Prepare students for interviews through counseling and guidance
- Track offer rollouts, joining status, and retention
Training Alignment & Candidate Readiness:
- Coordinate with trainers to ensure candidates are job-ready
- Align mobilization with training schedules and placement timelines
- Identify skill gaps and support intervention planning
Monitoring, MIS & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate data on mobilization, training, and placements
- Track KPIs such as enrollment, attendance, and placement rates
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports for management review
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (training, operations, placements)
- Coordinate with external stakeholders including colleges and employers
- Support program reviews and audits

Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong networking and relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities
- Target-oriented and result-driven mindset
- Good understanding of job market trends and industry requirements
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and MIS tools
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel extensively for mobilization and placement activities
- Experience with government or donor-funded skilling programs is an advantage
- Strong local network with colleges and employers preferred
