Position Summary
Program Coordinator, Partnerships & Organizational Growth will support the organization in expanding strategic partnerships, mobilizing resources, strengthening institutional collaborations, and identifying new opportunities for organizational growth and sustainability.
The position requires a proactive and professionally driven individual with strong communication, coordination, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement skills. The incumbent will work closely with the National Lead in identifying prospective donors, CSR partners, government opportunities, consulting assignments, ESG initiatives, and collaborative partnerships.
The role also involves supporting proposal writing, partnership management, event coordination, business communications, market research, and institutional outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Partnerships
- Identify and explore potential opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, grants, CSR projects, and institutional engagements.
- Support the organization in building relationships with corporates, CSR foundations, government departments, development agencies, academic institutions, and international organizations.
- Assist in developing strategic engagement plans for prospective partners and donors.
- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, presentations, and discussions with stakeholders and partner organizations.
- Support development of partnership proposals, MoUs, and engagement documents.
Proposal Development and Resource Mobilization
- Assist in preparation of concept notes, project proposals, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), grant applications, and technical presentations.
- Conduct background research on funding agencies, CSR priorities, government schemes, and donor requirements.
- Coordinate with program teams for collecting technical inputs, budgets, and project information for proposal development.
- Maintain proposal trackers, partnership databases, and business development records.
- Support preparation of donor reports, impact summaries, organizational profiles, and pitch decks.
Research and Market Intelligence
- Conduct research on emerging trends in CSR, sustainability, livelihoods, climate action, social entrepreneurship, and development sector opportunities.
- Track relevant government notifications, tenders, funding opportunities, and partnership calls.
- Prepare analytical briefs, sector notes, and opportunity mapping reports.
- Support institutional positioning and strategic planning initiatives of the organization.
Communication and Outreach
- Support external communication and institutional outreach activities.
- Coordinate preparation of brochures, communication materials, newsletters, presentations, and promotional content.
- Assist in management of social media and digital visibility initiatives.
- Represent the organization in conferences, meetings, webinars, networking platforms, and stakeholder consultations as required.
Event and Stakeholder Coordination
- Support organization of meetings, workshops, conferences, investor interactions, and stakeholder engagement programs.
- Coordinate logistics, invitations, documentation, and communication related to institutional events and outreach activities.
- Prepare meeting notes, action points, and follow-up trackers.
Internal Coordination and Operational Support
- Coordinate with program, finance, communication, and operations teams for timely completion of assignments.
- Support preparation of organizational reports, annual reports, presentations, and strategic documents.
- Assist in maintaining records, databases, and institutional documentation.
- Support administrative and operational tasks related to business development activities as required.
Qualification
- Master’s degree preferably from TISS, APU, Rajagiri (RCSS) and Delhi School of Social Work
- Candidates with specialization in fundraising, or business development will be preferred.
Work experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in business development, proposal writing, donor coordination, partnership management, CSR, ESG, fundraising, consulting, or development sector initiatives.
- Experience in preparing proposals, concept notes, presentations, and stakeholder engagement materials will be preferred.
- Prior exposure to working with NGOs, CSR foundations, consulting firms, development agencies, social enterprises, or government projects will be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent in PPT preparation and MS office documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong proposal writing and documentation skills.
- Good understanding of CSR, sustainability, development sector, and partnership ecosystems.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, and online research tools.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Professional attitude with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel for meetings, events, and project-related activities.
