About TB Alert India: TB Alert India is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Hyderabad, has been an active partner in supporting the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) for over two decades. We work to bridge the gaps between communities and the healthcare system across eight states in India. Our focus areas include providing person-centric TB care, specialized services for children with TB, and integrated care for individuals with co-morbidities such as diabetes, HIV, and other lung-related infections.
TBAI collaborates closely with local governments, community leaders, industries, frontline health care workers and associations to deliver impactful, community-based interventions. In last 3 years, we have directly reached over 1,00,000 beneficiaries and indirectly impacted more than 9–10 lakh people across our operational states.
About the project: TB Alert India has been selected as a Sub Recipient to KHPT for implementing the IMPACT India project supported by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (The Global Fund), for the grant cycle 2024-2027, for the TB grant in India. TB Alert India will implement this project in selected districts of Haryana, Punjab and Telangana and in one UT (Chandigarh). The key project elements include TB Champion Engagement and TB Mukt Grama Panchayat activities. The project activities will be implemented in close collaboration with state and district NTEP, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development and other allied stakeholders.
TB Alert India seeking application for District M&E officer position.
Qualification, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum graduate degree in Statistics, Population Studies, Economics, Sociology, Psychology, or equivalent disciplines and possess a minimum of 1 year of experience OR graduate/diploma in any subject with 8 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) within the context of public health or development interventions
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data through software applications.
- Ready and willing to travel across the implementation districts of the state to ensure effective M&E processes and outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure the collection of data in the districts to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and ethical standards as per the project work plan and performance framework.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators with the support of district leads and submit them to State Lead on a regular basis.
- Train and build the capacity of the Community Coordinators in the MIS system to ensure effective data collection and analysis.
- Conduct data analysis using statistical tools/MS Excel to generate actionable insights for the districts.
- Analyse state level data to identify significant trends requiring corrective action, assess possible causes, and identify solutions.
- Routinely perform quality control checks of monitoring and evaluation work in the state, ensuring that planned M&E activities are carried out and validating, on a random basis, the information provided PMU team.
- Track planned evaluations and ensure that evaluation reports are obtained and shared to facilitate learning.
- Two-wheeler with driving licence is desirable for this position as the position demands minimum 10 days travel in the field, wherein public transport is nil/limited.
- Must be good in interpersonal communication and must be excellent in the local language.

The District Monitoring and Evaluation officer will be reporting to the District Lead - PRI and Community Engagement (PRI & CE)
Remuneration
The compensation for the above-mentioned position/s will adhere to internal policies and market standards, determined by qualifications, relevant experience, and to the maximum of Rs. 30,000 (CTC) per month however this is subjected to last drawn salary and internal parity.
