About Synergy Sansthan
Synergy Sansthan, established in 2006, is a youth-centric nonprofit organization based in Madhya Pradesh, working to advance a youth-led, gender-just and participatory development paradigm. Rooted in rural India, the organization believes young people are not merely beneficiaries but powerful changemakers. Over the past 19 years, Synergy has directly worked across 11 districts and extended its reach to 21 districts through partnerships, impacting over 3 lakh adolescents and youth from marginalized tribal, rural and semi-urban communities. Its work focuses on leadership development, agency building and grassroots change, particularly among Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, religious minorities and people with diverse gender identities. Through flagship initiatives such as HumRahi, Udaan Fellowship and Yuvalaya – Youth Resource Centres, Synergy nurtures resilient youth leaders, social entrepreneurs and justice advocates. The organization is also known for incubating and mentoring youth-led organizations that now drive development efforts in underserved regions. Currently, Synergy Sansthan is scaling proven models, promoting youth-led social innovation, strengthening institutional ecosystems and engaging in policy dialogue to amplify grassroots voices—working towards a resilient, inclusive and youth-driven development ecosystem in central India.
