RASTA, Godda invites applications from eligible and committed candidates for the position of Counsellor under the Targeted Intervention (TI) Project.

Position details:
• Post: Counsellor
• Location: Godda District, Jharkhand
• Project: Targeted Intervention (TI) Project
• Number of Vacancies: 01
• Preference will be given to local women candidates.

Qualification and experience:
• Postgraduate degree in Psychology or Social Work (regular course); OR Graduate degree in Psychology or Social Work (regular course) OR ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in counselling or working with Targeted Intervention (TI) programmes, Adolescent Health programmes, Mental Health settings, or Substance Abuse/Dependence programmes.
• Basic knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint) is essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with vulnerable and marginalized communities.
• Proficiency in Hindi; knowledge of local languages will be preferred.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide counselling services to project beneficiaries.
• Conduct pre-test and post-test counselling.
• Support referral and linkage with ICTC, ART Centres, STI clinics, and other health services.
• Maintain counselling records and documentation.
• Prepare reports and maintain data using Microsoft Office applications.
• Participate in community outreach, awareness activities, and project meetings.
• Ensure confidentiality, ethical standards, and a beneficiary-centred approach.

Salary: Rs. 16,000/- per month
