Purpose of the Position
To lead marketing, branding, sales, and market linkage activities for honey and honey-based products procured from beneficiary beekeepers, shareholder farmers, and wild honey collectors, ensuring increased market access, sales revenue, and profitability for the Farmer Producer Company (FPC).

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies for apiary honey and wild honey products.
• Identify and establish market linkages with wholesalers, retailers, institutional buyers, processors, distributors, exporters, and e-commerce platforms.
• Promote FPC honey products through branding, packaging, exhibitions, trade fairs, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research and monitor market prices, demand trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, processing, and production teams to align product availability with market demand.
• Negotiate sales agreements, pricing, and commercial terms with buyers and ensure timely order fulfilment.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and continuously expand the buyer network.
• Prepare sales forecasts, marketing plans, business development strategies, and periodic performance reports.
• Support product diversification and the development of value-added honey and bee products.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, labelling requirements, branding guidelines, and regulatory norms.
• Develop interstate and out-of-state market linkages for honey and allied products.
• Prepare and implement marketing strategies, distribution plans, channel marketing initiatives, modern trade partnerships, institutional sales, and e-commerce business development.
• Explore new domestic and institutional markets to increase sales and strengthen the FPC brand.

Essential Qualification
• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Rural Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Marketing agricultural products, food products, NTFPs, honey products, or agribusiness.
• Experience in honey value chains, tribal livelihood programmes, Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs), or producer collectives will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits
• Consolidated Salary: 30,000/- per month.
• Travel Allowance (TA) & Daily Allowance (DA): As per the JMAFPCL HR Manual.
• Interview: No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
Duty Station
• Base Location: Angara, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
• Working Area: FPC operational clusters under the Honey Value Chain Programme across Jharkhand. Extensive field travel will be required.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Managing Director, JMAFPCL
