Aide et Action (India) is a development organization working in the field of education. It is registered as a not-for-profit entity under Section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013)

Our programs are managed through our Offices in Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Gurugram, Hyderabad & Patna. In line with the emerging needs of our organization, we now seek to fill in the following position.
Position: Project Accounts & Administration Officer
Job Location: Gurugram, Haryana

Job Type: Full Time (renewable contract basis)
Job Profile:
The incumbent would primarily be responsible for managing the overall finance and administration related work in Gurugram office of AEA. The key responsibilities shall include and not limited to, the following-
Financial systems and procedures: Ensuring that financial systems, applications and procedures are followed appropriately. Supporting the project implementing team in case of directly implemented projects and the NGO partner team in case of partnership based engagement in strengthening their financial systems and in following the rules and regulations aptly.
Accounting: Day to day accounting of transactions; Accounting & filing of vouchers and bills for each cost centre; administering salaries for staff members; TDS , PF, ESI & Professional tax payments; Monthly fund request & transfers, manage all bank and purchase related matters.
Statutory Compliance: Filing EPF, ESI, TDS and other statutory returns on quarterly basis.
Project Monitoring and Audit exercises: The candidate is expected to have experience in conducting financial audit of projects. The position also demands travelling and staying in project locations which may or may not be in city limits and could be outstation travel for the required period of time.
Reporting: Assist in submission of reports to external agencies/donors
External and Internal Audit: Support internal and external audit processes; Audit of directly implemented projects.
Capacity Building: Training project teams on finance and accounting procedures and practices.
Administration: Responsible for supporting the line manager in administration of the office.
Candidate Specification:
Educational Requirement: Should be a Post Graduate or Graduate in Commerce/Finance or any other relevant domain.
Experience required: Should possess minimum of three to five years of experience, preferably in the development sector. Should have experience in managing project and office related finances. Experience in dealing with FCRA related matters would be an added advantage.
Competencies Required: Should possess knowledge and skills in finance, accounting systems, taxation, PF, ESI, MIS and Accounting packages (ERP, Tally), financial documentation and report writing skills. Should possess analytical, team work, time management and delegation skills. Applicants should also be open to travel extensively to the field as and when required.
Compensation Range: Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s competencies, qualifications and relevant experience.
