Teacher Trainer

As a Teacher Trainer, you will be responsible for building the capacity of Instruction Specialists/ICT Teachers and facilitating Pi Labs at partner government and affordable private schools. The role involves teacher training, classroom teaching, program delivery, monitoring student learning and supporting school-based events.
Key Responsibilities

Training & Capacity Building

Conduct teacher training sessions and provide on-the-job support.
Identify training needs and develop training plans and training materials.
Share effective teaching methodologies with schools.
Support the development of training manuals.
Participate in professional development, learning circles and training programmes.

Program Delivery

Support data collection, analysis and reporting.
Ensure effective delivery of Pi Jam's curriculum.
Teach and travel to classrooms across the assigned city.
Create lesson plans and grade-specific learning goals.
Assess and monitor student learning through assessments, projects and quizzes.

Events & Student Engagement

Coordinate with schools for annual student showcases.
Conduct hackathons, quizzes and field visits.
Support Pi Jam's program and event activities.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of teaching/training experience and experience working with children in a formal setting.
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Good relationship-management and stakeholder-management skills.
Willingness to learn and stay updated on computer science education.

Preferred Qualifications
Degree in STEM or Education, or demonstrable experience in STEM/Computer Science.
Knowledge of education/program evaluation methods.
Experience working in a startup or fast-growing environment.
