About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to join our team. The candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, assist with billing and reconciliation, and ensure that accounting documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial documentation.
* Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers, and payment entries.
* Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
* Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
* Maintain accurate records of expenses, payments, and transactions.
* Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and statements.
* Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices and payment-related queries.
* Support the senior accounts team with audits, documentation, and other accounting activities.
* Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial records.
* Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements as applicable.

Requirements

* 1–2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
* Bachelor's degree in **Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
* Working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
* Good numerical and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation procedures.
* Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
* Experience in invoice processing, reconciliation, and bookkeeping.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualification & Application

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
