Position: Project Coordinator
Location: Good Shepherd Convent, Chainpur, Jharkhand
The Society of the Good Shepherd – CEI Province, through its Mission Development Office (MDO-CEI), invites applications for Good Shepherd Convent, Chainpur from committed, dynamic, and passionate candidates for the position of project coordination to support its community development and child protection initiatives in Chainpur, Jharkhand.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate and monitor the overall project implementation to achieve planned objectives and targets.
• Supervise, guide and support project staff and ensure effective teamwork.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual plans, reports and project documentation.
• Monitor project activities, outcomes, budget utilisation and overall progress.
• Coordinate with project participants, NGOs, Government departments and other stakeholders.
• Organise staff meetings, trainings and capacity-building activities.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safeguarding standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate project records, data and documentation.
• Identify challenges and take timely corrective action in consultation with the management.
• Support financial monitoring, documentation and accountability of project funds.
• Collect and document success stories, case studies and relevant project evidence.

Eligibility
• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Rural Development, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in community development or the NGO sector (freshers with relevant qualifications and commitment may also apply).
• Good communication, facilitation, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of English, Konkani, and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is an added advantage).
• Willingness to travel within the project area.

Salary
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, as per organizational norms.
