NGO Partnerships Officer (Full-Time – Contractual)

Duration: Initial 3–6 months, with scope for extension

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently strengthening our NGO partnerships and are seeking an NGO Partnerships Officer who can build and support a strong network of changemakers, partner organisations, and local stakeholders to advance our campaigns across India.
The NGO Partnerships Officer will be responsible for building, expanding, and managing the organisation’s network of NGO partners, changemakers, supporters, and other stakeholders across key cities in India. The role will support partnership development, stakeholder engagement, campaign mobilisation, and on-ground activities to strengthen network participation and campaign impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and onboard NGOs from environment, youth, and allied sectors in priority cities into the network.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with NGO partners, changemakers, supporters, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as a key point of contact for partners, ensuring regular communication, follow-ups, and coordination.
• Support mobilisation and engagement of partners for campaigns, initiatives, and collective actions.
• Coordinate with partners for communication, scheduling, participation, and engagement tracking.
• Support planning and execution of on-ground campaign activities across different cities.
• Develop and share campaign toolkits, resources, and communication materials with partner organisations.
• Track partner engagement, campaign participation, city-wise progress, feedback, challenges, and learnings.
• Maintain accurate partner, stakeholder, and campaign databases and documentation.
• Develop and regularly update city-wise lists and support regional outreach.
• Coordinate with internal teams to identify opportunities for network growth, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and campaign impact.
• Ensure timely reporting and documentation of outreach and partnership activities.
• Contribute to increasing the visibility, reach, and impact of organisational campaigns and initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Communications, Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of NGO networks, social impact initiatives, campaigns, or community mobilisation.
• Proficiency in basic documentation, databases, and digital communication tools.
EXPERIENCE
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in NGO partnerships, outreach, stakeholder engagement, community mobilisation, campaigns, or related fields.
• Experience working with NGOs, development organisations, advocacy groups, social-impact organisations, or mission-driven organisations is preferred.
• Experience coordinating with multiple partners or city-level engagements is an advantage.
• Experience in campaign mobilisation, outreach, or network-building will be an added advantage.
