Officer - Community Mobilizer

Organization: Ambuja Foundation Location: Jaipur, Jodhpur & Udaipur Department: Skill Development Reporting to: SEDI In-Charge / Principal

Objective of the Role

To identify, mobilize, and counsel rural youth for skill development training programs run under Ambuja Foundation's SEDI initiative and ensure effective enrolment, retention, and post-training outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct village-level mobilization drives to identify and counsel potential youth for various SEDI courses.

* Build relationships with Panchayats, schools, ITIs, SHGs, and community influencers for outreach.

* Organize awareness events, roadshows, career guidance sessions, and one-on-one counselling.

* Maintain a database of enrolled students and follow up on attendance and retention.

* Support candidates during training, assessment, and placement processes.

* Assist the SEDI team in tracking alumni and post-placement engagement.

* Maintain daily reports, mobilization logs, and community feedback.

* Ensure gender inclusion and participation from marginalized communities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

* Graduate in any discipline.

* Minimum 3 years of experience in community mobilization, youth engagement, or similar fieldwork.

* Experience in skill development projects (NSDC, CSR, DDU-GKY, PMKVY, etc.) is preferred.

* Good communication skills in Hindi and regional dialects.

* Familiarity with rural youth aspirations and local socio-economic dynamics.

* Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry) will be an advantage.
