Development and Implementation of Disaster Management Programs:
• Implement Disaster Management and Preparedness training programs aligned with project guidelines.
• Conduct school-based awareness and capacity-building on disaster risk reduction and emergency preparedness.
• Support schools in creating a safe and resilient learning environment.
Training and Education:
• Deliver training sessions to students, teachers, and school stakeholders on disaster preparedness and emergency response.
• Conduct pre-assessment and post-assessment activities to evaluate learning outcomes.
• Demonstrate evacuation procedures, search & rescue techniques, casualty evacuation methods, and first aid awareness.
• Distribute and explain Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
• Promote disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and risk reduction practices among school communities.
School Disaster Management Plan (SDMP) Support:
• Guide schools in Hazard Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (HRVA).
• Support preparation, implementation, and review of School Disaster Management Plans (SDMP).
• Assist schools in identifying hazards, evacuation routes, assembly areas, and emergency resources.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, assessments, and feedback.
• Ensure proper collection of photographs, videos, attendance sheets, and required documentation.
• Prepare and submit training reports and supporting evidence as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project SOPs and reporting standards.
Continuous Improvement and Training Evaluation:
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback.
• Analyze results to measure program impact and identify areas for improvement.
• Support continuous enhancement of disaster preparedness and school safety initiatives.
Coordination and Collaboration:
• Work closely with school management, teachers, staff, and project teams for effective implementation of training programs.
• Coordinate with school authorities for SDMP-related activities and follow-up support.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to strengthen disaster preparedness and emergency response mechanisms within schools.
