About the Position

JAUNPUR NETWORK FOR HIV POSITIVE PEOPLE LIVING WITH AIDS SOCIETY invites applications from eligible and motivated candidates for the position of Finance Officer (Part-Time) at its Jaunpur office. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling routine accounting activities, supporting administrative functions, and preparing financial reports in coordination with the Project Coordinator and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and disbursement of staff salaries.

Coordinating with the Project Coordinator (PC) and other staff members.

Liaising with finance personnel at the State/Regional level.

Preparing appointment letters for new staff in consultation with the Project Coordinator.

Maintaining financial and administrative records, including:

Indent files, requisition slips and order files.

Quotation files, challans, cash books and ledger books.

Voucher files, rent and service charge records.

Office operating expenses and communication expense records, including telephone and TA.

Daily bank transaction records and cash flow statements.

Maintaining staff attendance registers and leave records.

Preparing bank reconciliation statements.

Representing the organization at meetings, conferences and workshops, as required.

Preparing financial reports, including CMIS and Statement of Expenditure (SOE).

Ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely reporting and confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications and Experience

B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce) from a recognized institution.

Experience in accounting, bookkeeping and financial record management.

Working knowledge of Tally ERP and data management.

Experience in the NGO, community development or healthcare sector will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.

Basic knowledge of Tally ERP and accounting procedures.

Good written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and organizational records.

Good organizational, documentation and presentation skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with project staff and management.

Remuneration

The monthly remuneration for this part-time position will be ?7,500/-, subject to the organization's applicable terms and conditions.
